🐄 Arun Raj Foundation Adopts 7-Year-Old Cow “Annapurna” from Sadhana Goshala12 July 2025

A Journey of Compassion Starts with One Life

At the Arun Raj Foundation, compassion is not only a principle—it is a way of life. In line with our unwavering commitment to serve vulnerable communities—both human and animal.

We are honored to announce the adoption of a 7-year-old cow named Annapurna from the esteemed Sadhana Goshala, operated by the Indian Institute of Animal Welfare.

This act is not merely symbolic. It is a sincere pledge to protect a life that cannot speak for itself—but feels pain, joy, hunger, and love just like we do.

🐮 Who is Annapurna?

Annapurna at Sadhana Goshala, peacefully recovering in a safe haven.

Annapurna is a 7-year-old cow with an innocent spirit and brave eyes. She was rescued from a background where neglect or slaughter might have been her fate.

Thanks to the care provided by Sadhana Goshala—and now, our support—she is safe, well-fed, and receiving regular veterinary attention.

Our adoption guarantees that Annapurna will be:

Fed daily with nutritious food

Treated regularly by veterinarians

Protected from harm and exploitation

Surrounded by gentle hands and a loving, nurturing environment

💚 Why the Arun Raj Foundation Adopted Annapurna

As a foundation grounded in service, sustainability, and humanity, we believe caring for animals is a vital act of  seva —selfless service.

📚 Educate others on the importance of cow protection and welfare
